Dr. Lee is the Managing Director of Caribbean Ecosystems Limited an environmental consulting firm. Dr. Lee has over twenty-five years of experience in environmental management which includes experience in the protection and conservation of biodiversity, natural resources management, ecological studies, project management and planning.

He is an aquatic ecologist with a Ph.D. in Applied Biology from the University of Cambridge, and a B.Sc. from the University of the West Indies. He has held positions as the Project Manager, Protected Areas Resource Conservation Project (PARC); Head, Environmental Management Unit at the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica; and as the Director of Aquatic Resources at the Natural Resources Conservation Division.

As an environmental consultant, he has worked on a variety of projects to include financing, industrial, manufacturing, commercial, monitoring & evaluation, agriculture, housing, highway infrastructure and tourism. Dr. Lee has served on various committees including those of: the Scientific Research Council, Jamaica Agriculture Development Foundation, Jamaica National Heritage Trust, Jamaica Bureau of Standards and the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica – Environment Committee. He was appointed by the World Conservation Union (IUCN) to their Commission on National Parks and Protected Areas for the Caribbean and their Commission on Communication and Education.
